My Mom

My mom left a few minutes ago. My brother bawled his eyes out, and personally, I wanted to cry too. I know she has to be on the road, but I wish that she would stay home, or at least be home more often. She says it's getting harder everytime she leaves. By December, I expect her to be home on a more permanent basis, but, unfortunately, I'll probably be gone off to bootcamp by then. Well, until next time...

Birthday

Wow... So today was a busy day. AM class until 11:00, then rode over to see Spain at the recruiter's office. My dad signed the papers, so I almost now am property of the US Government. Well, after that, we went to get pizza. I rode home, and my mom brought my girlfriend, Amy, to come spend the day with me. Fun stuff and lots of laughter and kisses ensued. :D Amazingly, even though it's been a crazy day, I've still had my share of fun. After Amy left, my friend Meghan came over for like ten minutes, then my family and I left for dinner at Smokey Bones. I started feeling sick (anxiety) and ended up boxing up my rack of ribs. Now I'm sitting here at my laptop, listening to Dashboard Confessional and writing this blog. I am frustrated because it appears that I can't access NASIS, I called Gonzo and let him know about the problem; hopefully he will get back to me in the morning, because I have to go to MEPS at 0300 Monday. Well, that's all for now.

My First Post

Hello everyone. My name is Eddy Sanders, and I am 16 years old (but I turn 17 in a few days). I have decided to create a blog because I feel like the world needs to hear my voice. I will try my best to keep a variety of topics included, and I'll try to use a variety of media (text, images, video links, ect.).

Now that I've intoduced myself, allow me to highlight my interests and beliefs.
1. Apparently, I'm a liberal, although I do find myself swinging conservative on several occasions, namely on gun control.

2. I'm a Christian; I believe Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior.

3. I'm joining the Navy for Nuclear Power, and I will continue to post even while I'm in Boot Camp. (I'll write letters and have my Dad post them.)

4. I love scooters and motorcycles. I have 2007 Yamaha Vino, and a 1980 Honda CM200T (Twinstar)

5. Family: Dad, Mom, little brother named Bryan, and I have a quasi-adoptive little sister, Brynna.

I think this about sums everything up, so I will pick this up either later tonight or tomorrow evening
